I told her that she couldn’t stay,
Not today, not any day.
But she wouldn’t listen.
My mummy was angry, and so was my daddy,
They said they were certainly not happy,
But there was nothing I could do,
About the elephant who just wouldn’t shoo!
I said it once,
I said it twice,
And I definitely would have said it thrice.
But I swear it wasn’t a fault of mine,
That an elephant had just followed me home.
